Of course, you can be friends with anyone you get along with, but astrologers say that your zodiac sign predisposes you to get along better with people of certain sun signs than with others. THE MOST LIKELY FRIENDSHIPS

Aries, Leo and Sagittarius:

All three of these signs are fire signs, and they all have certain characteristics in common. Fire signs are very outgoing people, outspoken, full of enthusiasm and optimism. Of course, they all also have a fiery temper, true to their element, but they are also quick to forgive. They’re all pretty romantic too, and no number of bad affairs can turn them off their incurable belief in love. They’re also generous and impulsive.
These three fire signs are the most likely to understand each other when more cynical, jaded people prick their happy bubble or ridicule their open, impulsive ways. They share their optimism and their energy, and will be stubbornly loyal to each other when others accuse them of being naïve.

Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn:

These three are earth signs. Earth signs are known for being practical and cautious in everything they do. They’re the quiet, steady ones who generally keep to themselves and go about their business dutifully. They’re not known for wearing their emotions on their sleeve, but that doesn’t mean that they’re unemotional.
They get along because they can all understand the insecurity that makes them so cautious. They are also the perfect people to make each other relax, take a break from the serious business of life and enjoy themselves, which more boisterous people might not be able to do.

Gemini, Libra and Aquarius:

These are air signs, and while they’re all quite sociable, they don’t get very close to people. Air signs are people who live by their head rather than their heart, and they’re more interested in studying personalities rather than befriending people for its own sake. They’re very sharp and witty, and make for great conversationalists, but prefer not to get bogged down by stiflingly close relationships.
Air signs can understand each other’s need for space and freedom, and the only people who can give their friends lots of rope without complaining of a lack of attention. They can also match each other’s moods and intellectual sharpness.

Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces:

All three of these are water signs, and the defining characteristic of the water signs is that they’re very emotional. On the surface, they’re all nice, sweet people, but others often don’t realise how deeply these pleasant, moody people value their friendships – and nurse their grudges – until the strength of those relationships is tested.
People of the water signs are all highly intuitive, and can instinctively sense each other’s need for large doses of affection. They are also insecure, like the earth signs, but their insecurity is emotional, unlike the material insecurity of the latter. They also understand the emotional reasons for their sometimes impractical decisions, which more materialistic people might not, and will quietly but unflinchingly support each other.

THE LEAST LIKELY FRIENDSHIPS


Aries-Cancer and Aries-Capricorn:

Aries are outgoing, impulsive, outspoken people, and can sometimes jar on the nerves of the quieter Capricorns and Cancerians. While Capricorns don’t like the fact that Aries people refuse to look beyond the happy present, Cancerians are often hurt by Aries’ abrupt forthrightness and refuse to forgive.

Taurus-Leo and Taurus-Aquarius:

Taureans can be extremely stubborn, and are also quiet and dependable. Leos often put them off by their louder, more enthusiastic partying ways and impractical romanticism. Freedom-loving Aquarians weigh everything rationally, and can be just as stubborn (though more clinically logical) than the more orthodox Taureans if it comes to a showdown.

Gemini-Virgo and Gemini-Pisces:

Geminis are intelligent, gregarious, but they refuse to be tied down by schedules and relationships. Virgos love schedules – order, cleanliness, punctuality, so they often fight over these issues. Pisces need lots of affection, and frequent displays of it, Geminis can be very detached.

Cancer-Libra:

It’s the same story here – Cancerians are moody people, who need frequent displays of affection to soothe away those black moods. Librans are airy, pleasant people who like to party and look good and make scintillating conversation, but don’t often have the patience to lend an ear to a weepy Crab.

Leo-Scorpio:
Leos like to rule, like their symbol, the Lion. Scorpios are extremely intense people, and don’t like to be lorded over. It’s easy to see why these two would have ego clashes and often. Both are also proud, and wouldn’t want to be the first one to say sorry.

Virgo-Sagittarius:

Sagittarians are known for being as blunt as a block of wood. Virgos are their own worst critics, and don’t like to be criticised. It’s easy for these two to get into shouting matches over personal comments, and over the Sagi’s love of travel and the Virgo’s for home.

Libra-Capricorn:

Capricorns are obstinately traditional. They’ll conform to social rules till their last breath, unless there’s a very strong reason not to. Librans go by logic, and they can be very clinical and rather detached about tradition and orthodoxy. Obviously, these two rub each other up the wrong way. Scorpio-Aquarius: More than
conflict, this friendship might just suffer from a lack of sufficient attachment. Aquarians analyse everything rather scientifically, and are willing to change their views if logic proves they’re wrong. Scorpios have their own personal codes of conduct, and the rest of the world can take a walk. They simply don’t connect.

Sagittarius-Pisces:

The blunt Sagis can hurt no one more deeply than the extremely emotional, sensitive Pisces. And when they realise it, the damage is done. Their reflex is to apologise honestly and cheerfully and forget it, but for the Pisces, it’s the beginning of an estrangement. These friendships often fizzle out.
